Root Canal
When your teeth become injured or diseased, they can be saved with a root canal treatment. A root canal treatment is designed to eliminate bacteria from the infected root canal, an inside part of your tooth. When you undergo a root canal treatment, the inflamed or infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed. Typically a crown will be placed on the tooth to restore it to its original shape and size.
